Zucchino tondo di Piacenza – Appartiene alle varietà aventi come caratteristica la conformazione rotonda del frutto. La pianta, rustica e vigorosa, è molto produttiva e ben si adatta alle condizioni climatiche di tutto il territorio nazionale. Il caratteristico frutto tondo è di un bel colore verde scuro e presenta una grossa fioritura. Così come per
gli altri zucchini, si consigliano abbondanti concimazioni letamiche nella fase di preparazione del terreno ed irrigazioni abbondanti, ma poco frequenti durante la coltivazione. La semina è a postarelle (o trapianto) con distanza di 100 cm. fra le file e di 70 cm. sulla fila.

Zucchini tondo di Piacenza – Belongs to the set of varieties characterised by a round fruit. The rustic and very vigorous plant adapts well to climatic conditions all over Italy. The characteristic round fruit is a fine dark green colour and has a large bloom. Like other courgettes, for best results fertilise abundantly with dung when preparing the ground and soak well but infrequently during growing. Sow in holes or transplant leaving 100 cm between rows and 70 cm between plants along the row.
