Rabarbaro – Pianta perenne che produce coste di un colore rosso intenso. I gambi vengono utilizzati in cucina per aromatizzare insalate e preprarare ottime conffetture. Si consiglia di raccogliere i gambi ad un anno dalla semina.

Rhubarb – Perennial. Don’t harvest until after the first year to allow the crowns to form and establish. The legs should be blanched by covering them with a bucket 10 days prior to harvest. They can then be used to make jams or simply stewed and served classically with custard, or used to make crumble.
