Menta – Perenne. Pianta rustica, alta cm 80 circa, con foglie opposte, di colore verde con bordo dentato e fiori di colore violetto chiaro. La semina si effettua in marzo-aprile per poi mettere
a dimora in giugno-luglio, in terreni freschi, distanziando le piante di almeno 40 cm. Le foglie
fresche vengono utilizzate come aromatizzante in cucina e nella preparazione di liquori. Si può ottenere anche un the tonico e rinfrescante ed infusi dalle proprietà digestive ed antispasmodiche.

Pepper mint – Perennial. Rustic plant about 80 cm tall, of a green colour with toothed edge and pale violet coloured flowers. Sow in March – April and plant out in June – July, in fresh soils, spacing the plants at least 40 cm apart. The fresh leaves are used as an aromatiser in cooking and the preparation of liqueurs. Can also be used to make a tasty tonic, refreshing tea and infusions with digestive and antispasmodic properties.
