Cece Principe – Pianta che predilige il clima temperato-caldo e che ben si adatta a qualsiasi tipo di terreno, anche se poco fertile, purché ben drenato. Leguminosa ad alto potere calorico, è l’ingrediente principale di alcuni piatti tipici regionali, oltre ad essere consumato in gustose zuppe e ricchi contorni. La semina si effettua a macchina oppure a mano avendo cura di disporre 3-4 semi per postarella ad una profondità di 4-5 cm. Si raccoglie estirpando le piante a mano, quando il seme non è ancora maturo, per poi lasciarle essiccare nell’aia.
