Cicoria variegata di Castelfranco – Varietà tipica per l’autunno – inverno, regina degli orti domestici. La pianta si presenta di un bel colore madreperlaceo variegato con un cuore ben chiuso e serrato. Il fogliame è ampio, rotondeggiante e con i margini arricciati. Per migliorare le caratteristiche organolettiche del cespo centrale, consigliamo di chiudere le piante con elastico qualche giorno prima di consumarle. Si semina dall’inizio dell’estate (nord) alla fine di agosto (sud) spaziando le piante a cm 30×30.

Chicory variegata from Castelfranco – Typical autumn – winter variety, the queen of domestic vegetable gardens. The plant is a dark green colour with a variegated pearly, well – filled heart. The foliage is wide, roundish and with curled edges. To improve the organoleptic characteristics of the central head, we recommend closing the plant with elastic a few days before consumption. Sew from the early summer (north) to the end of August (south) leaving 30 x 30 cm between plants.
