Cicoria selvatica barba di cappuccino – Si tratta di una cicoria da radice destinata al consumo invernale, la cui parte edule è rappresentata dal germoglio, da utilizzare previa cottura. Presenta una grossa radice allungata di forma conica che produce foglie verdi, sottili e allungate; queste non formano un grumolo compatto ma possono essere recise più volte dalla stessa radice. La semina si effettua da Aprile a Giugno, in file distanziate 35/40 cm. e 8/10 cm. sulla fila.

Chicory selvatica barba di cappuccio – This root chicory is destined for winter consumption, and its edible shoot is eaten cooked. It has a large elongated tapered root that produces green thin and elongated leaves, which do not form a compact head but can be cut several times from the same root. Sow from April to June in rows 35 – 40 cm apart and leaving 8-10 cm between plants along the row.
