CICORIA ROSSA DI VERONA TARDIVA

Cicoria Rossa di Verona tardiva – Varietà a cespo aperto, forma una rosetta con foglie di colore rosso, tonde e carnose. Presenta un ottimo sapore dolciastro e viene usata fresca per arricchire appetitose insalate. È molto apprezzata nel periodo primaverile. Si semina da Maggio a Settembre con raccolta da Luglio a Febbraio. La semina può avvenire a spaglio, oppure a file con distanza sulla fila di 15 – 20 cm. e 30 cm. tra le file.

Chicory rossa di Verona tardiva – Loose head variety that forms a rosette of fleshy, red rounded leaves. Has a deliciously sweet flavour and is used fresh to add zest to tasty salads. Particularly popular during the spring period. Sow between May and September and harvest from July to February. Broadcast or sow in rows 15 – 20 cm between plants along the row and with 30 cm between rows.
