Zucca tonda padana – Selezione di zucca molto rustica, con frutti tondi che presentano costolature molto pronunciate. La buccia è consistente e sottile, di colore giallo-arancio con screziature verdi. Il frutto è di grosse
dimensioni con costolature molto evidenti, la polpa è spessa e soda di un bel colore giallo/arancio carico. Grazie all’ottimo sapore zuccherino è molto apprezzata in cucina per la preparazione dei tipici tortelli, dei minestroni, creme e favolosi dolci. Si conserva molto a lungo in locali aerati ad una temperatura di circa 7/8C. Si semina a 3/4 semi per buca o si trapianta alla distanza di metri 2 tra le file e metri 1 sulla fila lasciando una sola pianta per buca.

Pumpkin tonda padana – Very rustic selection of pumpkin, whose rounded fruits are deeply grooved. The skin is solid and thin, of a yellow-orange colour with green veining. The fruit is large, with very evident grooves, the pulp is thick and firm of a fine, bright yellow-orange colour. The excellent sugary flavour makes it popular for cooking in the preparation of typical tortelli, minestroni, crèmes and delicious cakes. Keeps well in airy places at temperatures of about 7 – 8. Sow 3-4 seeds per hole or transplant at distances of 2 metres between rows and 1 meter along the row, with a single plant per hole.
