Zucca quintale seme giallo – Varietà di zucca divertente da coltivare di grande effetto decorativo date le enormi dimensioni che può raggiungere. Zucca a lunga conservazione, diffusa in tutta Italia con frutti rotondi grossi leggermente costoluti e schiacciati ai poli; buccia di colore giallastro e polpa zuccherina di colore giallo od arancio. Si semina da aprile a maggio interrando 3/4 semi per buchetta distanziando da m 1,50 a m 2 e lasciando una sola pianta per buca. Si consiglia di innaffiare e concimare copiosamente.

Pumpkin with a long shelf-life, common in all areas of Italy with round, slightly ribbed fruits, squashed at the ends; yellow skin and yellow or orange pulp with a high sugar content. Sow from April to May by burying 3-4 seeds per hole, 1.50 x 2 metres apart, and thinning out to leave just one plant per hole. For best results, water and fertilise generously.
