Pianta ad accrescimento indeterminato, pertanto necessita di sostegni. Il frutto grosso allungato, ha polpa spessa, soda e di bel colore rosso vivo; ottimo per consumo fresco e da pelati. La coltivazione è da effettuarsi in pieno campo. Se ne consiglia la semina diretta, o meglio il trapianto, da febbraio ad aprile ad una distanza di cm 100 tra file e cm 40 sulle file.
